BTS’ RM, Jimin, V, Jungkook set to finish military service in June

The members of BTS are ready to begin their group activities soon, as RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook will complete their mandatory military service this June.

Updates about RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook’s military discharge were announced by their label BigHit Music on Saturday, June 7, in a statement on Weverse.

“RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are close to completing [their] active service in the army and will soon be discharged,” their label said. “Please note that the discharge day is reserved for military personnel only. No special events are planned on the day of RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook’s discharge.”

BigHit urged fans (or Armys) not to visit the military camps of RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook as it would pose “safety risks.”

“We place the safety of our artists and fans as our top priority, and sincerely request our fans not to visit the sites in person. Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts,” it added.

As the BTS members’ discharge is approaching, the label thanked Armys for their “unwavering love and support” throughout RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook’s military service.

“We are always grateful for your unwavering love and support for RM, Jimin, V, Jungkook. Our company will continue to put our utmost effort into supporting our artists. Thank you once again for your continued love and support for BTS,” it said.

RM and V will be discharged on June 10, while Jimin and Jungkook will end their enlistment a day later. Meanwhile, Suga will cap off his enlistment on June 21.

On the other hand, Jin and J-Hope have been active in the entertainment industry since being discharged from the military in June and October of last year, respectively.

BTS is set to mark their 12th debut anniversary on June 13. This also marks the latest edition of their annual BTS Festa celebration, culminating in a two-day offline gathering at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 with photo card stations, a coloring wall, interactive activities, and a FESTA-themed game zone, to name a few. The event will take place on June 12 and 13.
