KATSEYE to drop 2nd EP ‘Beautiful Chaos’ on June 27

Global girl group KATSEYE announced the release of their upcoming EP “Beautiful Chaos,” scheduled for June 27.

KATSEYE made the announcement on their social media platforms on Wednesday, May 7, including concept photos for the EP. One of the photos showed the girl group lying down on cars, while another showed the members flaunting their slim physiques in what seemed to be a messy set.

“Our second EP ‘Beautiful Chaos’ is out June 27th!! We are so excited to invite you into this beautiful and chaotic world that we have built. Thank you for being here,” the post read.

According to the fan community platform Weverse, “Beautiful Chaos” is described as a record that portrays the beauty of “celebrating confusion.”

“By incorporating a wide range of genres, the EP goes beyond any boundaries, expressing the chaos in various creative that comes with pushing the limits as an artist, while portraying KATSEYE’s journey of growth,” it read.

The female sextet earlier shared a glimpse of the record through the pre-release single “Gnarly,” which was dropped on April 30.

The mini-album will be released 10 months after their debut EP “SIS (Soft Is Strong).”

Formed through the survival show “Dream Academy,” KATSEYE debuted in June 2024 with the single “Debut.” The girl group consists of members from different countries and nationalities: Sophia (Philippines), Daniela (US), Megan (US), Lara (US), Yoonchae (South Korea), and Manon (Switzerland). /edv
