Jhoanna and Gwen of P-pop girl group BINI achieved another milestone, this time in academics, after they finally earned their high school diplomas.

The P-pop stars graduated from Japanese-Philippines Institute of Technologies, Training and Services Inc. under the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) strand.

Jhoanna and Gwen attended their graduation ceremony along with their parents, as seen on the group’s Facebook page on Wednesday, May 7.

“They shine on stage and now they shine in a toga! Congratulations BINI Jhoanna and BINI Gwen! Officially senior high graduates!” the caption read.

“Kayo na talaga, queens of multitasking! Balancing school and everything else is not easy, but you did it with hard work and dedication. We’re so proud of you!” it added.

Jhoanna and Gwen also both received Youth Leadership Excellence Award and Special Citation Award for their contributions in the fields of arts, media and entertainment.

Jhoanna and Gwen’s high school graduation was held a week before BINI — which also includes Mikha Lim, Aiah Arceta, Maloi Ricale, Colet Vergara, Sheena Catacutan and Stacey Sevillaje — stages the Dubai leg of their first-ever world tour “BINIverse” on May 18.

The octet is also set to hold shows in London, Toronto, New York and Washington, D.C., among others.  /ra
