Unlike most international competitions, the Miss World 2025 pageant already announces several contenders who will advance to the next round of competition ahead of the final show. And fans may help the Philippines’ Krishnah Gravidez earn a Top 40 slot.
For the 2025 contest, now ongoing in Telangana, India, 12 delegates have so far earned slots in the quarterfinals, the winners of the “fast-track” events held before the coronation ceremonies.
Gravidez has made it to the Top 32 of the Sports Challenge, and the Top 24 of the Talent Challenge. Both events have already proclaimed their respective winners.
She is now vying for the final fast-track event, the “Multimedia Challenge,” where the public has a huge role to play. Gravidez is among the 20 ladies shortlisted in the race.
To help Gravidez win the Multimedia Challenge and earn a Top 40 slot in the final show, fans must download the official Miss World app, and engage with her content through likes, views, and shares.
Visit the Miss World Philippines Organization on social media to learn more about her journey to the crown, and to check the links to her content. Keep on liking, viewing, and sharing her posts to boost her scores for the race to become the Multimedia Challenge winner.
Twelve delegates have so far earned guaranteed slots in the Top 40. Estonia’s Eliise Randmaa won the Sports Challenge, while Indonesia’s Monica Kezia Sembiring won the Talent Challenge.
Sembiring was also the Beauty with a Purpose winner for Asia and Oceania, and she was joined by Puerto Rico’s Valeria Perez for the Americas and Caribbean, Uganda’s Natasha Nyonyozi for Africa, and Wales’ Millie-Mae Adams for Europe.
Adams was also the winner of the “Head-to-Head” Challenge for Europe, and she was joined by Trinidad & Tobago’s Anna-Lise Nanton for the Americas and Caribbean, Zambia’s Faith Bwalya for Africa, and Turkiye’s Idli Bilgen for Asia and Oceania.
There were also four continental winners in the Top Model Challenge — India’s Nandini Gupta for Asia and Oceania, Martinique’s Aurelie Joachim for the Americas and Caribbean, Ireland’s Jasmine Gerhardt for Europe, and Namibia’s Selma Kamanya for Africa.
It is still not disclosed if there will also be four continental winners for the Multimedia Challenge, or only one winner will be announced. But so far, only seven quarterfinal slots for delegates from Asia and Oceania are up for grabs in the Top 40.
The other continental groups also have seven remaining quarterfinal slots each, because they also have three early qualifiers each based on the results of the fast-track events that had already concluded.
Gravidez is competing to become the second Filipino woman to win the “blue crown.” Megan Young posted the Philippines’ first Miss World win in 2013 in Indonesia.
The coronation ceremonies of the 72nd Miss World pageant will be held at the Hyderabad International Convention and Exhibition Center (HITEX) in Hyderabad on May 31. /edv
