Megan Young, Mikael Daez announce birth of first child

Although it’s been a week since Megan Young and Mikael Daez welcomed their first child, they shared that they are still basking in the bliss of being first-time parents.
The celebrity couple announced that they are now a family of three and they welcomed their baby boy a week ago, on their respective Instagram pages on Wednesday, May 28.
“Welcome to the outside world, our little one!!! [heart-eyed and teary-eyed emojis] it’s been a week with him, and we’re filled with so much love,” Young’s post read, which included polaroid photos documenting her pregnancy and their first moments with their son.

Meanwhile, Daez shared a clip of himself with Young expecting their first child, until it transitioned into a photo of them posing with their baby and dogs. The clip also showed glimpses of their son’s face.
“An explosion of overwhelming emotions [teary-eyed emoji] new chapter unlocked,” he captioned his post.

Young and Daez received supportive messages from their followers, including fellow celebrities like Coney Reyes, Andrea Torres, Shaira Diaz, Glaiza de Castro, Saab Magalona, Joyce Pring, Jason Abalos, Lovi Poe, Andi Eigenmann, Jo Berry, Chariz Solomon, and Pancho Magno.

Young and Daez, who tied the knot in 2020, announced that they are expecting their first child in December of last year.
