“Bridgerton” season four, which centers on the love story of Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Baek, will premiere sometime in 2026.
The premiere of the hit Regency era series was confirmed on its social media platforms on Thursday, May 15, in the form of a letter by the show’s gossip columnist Lady Whistledown. The exact premiere date has yet to be disclosed.
“Do prepare yourselves, for ‘Bridgerton Season 4’ shall debut in 2026. It would seem this author is going to be quite busy,” the post read.

It was also announced that the series will be renewed for seasons five and six. However, it remains unknown which of the Bridgerton siblings the upcoming seasons will focus on.
“Rarely is this author granted the opportunity to share with you such information. It is with great pleasure I can announce ‘Bridgerton’ shall return for seasons 5 and 6. Do celebrate accordingly,”
A teaser clip featuring Benedict (Luke Thompson) falling in love with Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha) at first sight was uploaded on the same day. This particular teaser is one of the highlights of the book, which somewhat mirrors the Cinderella-like meeting of the leads.
“My, my… It seems as though someone has finally caught the attention of Mr. Benedict Bridgerton. ‘Bridgerton Season 4’ arrives 2026.

Based on the novels by Julia Quinn, “Bridgerton” tells the story of the eight Bridgerton siblings as they find their place in the “marriage market” and London’s high society.
The series has since focused on the love stories of Daphne and Simon Basset (Phoebe Dynevor and Regé-Jean Page) in season 1; Anthony and Kate Sharma (Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley) in season 2; and Colin and Penelope Featherington (Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan) in season 3.
