Mikael Daez emotional ahead of welcoming first child

Mikael Daez admitted feeling sentimental as he and his actress wife Megan Young prepare themselves to welcome an addition to their family.
Daez opened up about this as he showed moments from their maternity shoot with their fur babies Soba and Chia, through his Instagram page on Thursday, May 1.
“Had some snaps taken before we meet the little one,” he said in the caption. “Boneezy (Young) wanted a maternity shoot but I said I had one condition— Soba and Chia had to be with us.”
Daez gushed over their dogs who both looked adorable while posing for photos in their diapers. “As expected they stole the show. Such cutie pies!”
“Although sa totoo lang, medyo nakakasenti that our fam of four will add one more so soon,” he said, adding the hashtag “I’m not crying, you’re crying.”
In the snaps, Daez and Young were all smiles in their casual attires that included matching caps that have “mom” and “dad” written on them.
Another set of photos then features the couple playfully admiring Young’s pregnant belly.

Young, for her part, gave a glimpse of her preparations for childbirth which include stretching at home.
“I’ve been getting so tired lately but really trying my best to dress up from time to time because it makes me so happy,” she said via her Instagram page.

Young and Daez have been in a relationship for nine years before they tied the knot in 2020. They announced Young’s pregnancy with their first child, a baby boy, in December 2024.
